250 Homes totaling $80,000,000 sold in January 2023 in the Roanoke Valley!

January of 2023 saw a 32% decline in homes sold versus 2022, with 365 homes sold in 2022 while only 250 were sold in 2023. The average sale price, however, was up over $27,000 while it took 9 days more on average for the houses to sell.

Franklin County had the highest average sale price for our region at $514,936 while the City of Roanoke was the most inexpensive at $232,973. Homes in the City of Salem sold the fastest at an average of 18 days on the market and the slowest selling time was still a very low 54 days in Bedford County.
